Natalie's Eye Dr apt.
So, Natalie finally had her apt with the opthomologist, Dr Milner. First thing, he is great. Very nice, very patient, and really took the time to explain everything we needed to know. Basically, she does nystagmus, but it's something that he just wants to watch for now. Majority of kids will grow out of it. I asked him what she actually sees because of the wiggle in her eye. He said because she does the head tilt her vision is really not effected. The worst could last about a milisecond, since she has mastered the head tilt. Now, worst case scenerio she could possibly have to have eye surgery. BUT, that's not for many many years and he's really banking of her growing out of it. Hope all is well with you and yours...
We've got a walker.......
Samantha is walking!!! She doesn't give up trying at this point. She walks, falls, gets up again, walks, falls. I guess that's why my mom calls her Hell Bent. (Natalie's nickname is determined) It's pretty cute nicknames if you ask me, and just as true. Natalie is getting braver trying to no hand thing. We go to see the opthomologist Thursday, Sept. 21st. I hope we get some good news. According to the internet Natalie's nystagmus can affect her balance. I'm thinking that's why she hasn't tried to much standing alone or walking. Aubrey is still loving school and is 100% potty trained. I don't even have to put diapers on for bedtime. Rick's bday is Saturday, the big 32. I'm going to be 29 on Tuesday. Still holding onto my 20's!!! Next year is really going suck. I didn't think I was going to mind until this year. I'm starting to have some issues now and I still have a whole year. I don't feel old or anything, shoot three kids would do that to me not my age. I just am starting to realize what an adult I really am now. There's no turning back at this point. I'm a wife, mommy, homeowner, and full time employee. This is life! I'm happy with all I have without a doubt!!! It's just when reality hits, watch out!!!!
Aubrey Lynn's 1st Piece of Artwork
Aubrey had a great first day at school. She made a friend in the hallway waiting for school to start. That's my little social butterfly for ya. This star was the first thing she made, it's for the board in school. They are learning about space. Her little friend's name is Madeline. They sat together for snack,story time, played with the dollhouse together, even their cubbies are right next to eachother. Aubrey got chosen to help put the napkins out for snacktime. They had cookies and juice. Everyone gets a turn to bring in snack. When it is their day for snack they get to take home a secret box. The secret box is for a special toy from home to bring in with 3clues and at the end of the day they read the clues and get to pass the box around to guess what is in it. She was so upset the next day when she found out she wasn't going to school. Here we were worried about her not wanting to go, now we have to worry about her wanting to go all the time. Boy how the time flies!!!
AUBREY IS POTTYING ON THE POTTY!!!! She finally decided she was ready. She will start school Thursday so I'll post some new pics very soon. Bear with me on slacking with the pics. The girls are on the move and I'm doing all I can to keep up. Loveyas!!!!
