Christmas Time again....

The yearly King girl shot. The girls keep on coming... Aww, me and my baby. I'm a lucky girl!! He's so handsome!!
Little Sami, don't let the face fool ya!
No goofy face for Nati in this one.
Aubrey took a peek at Santa this year. She was moving fast..

Wow, how fast a year can go. Especially on my blog page. LOL!! We had yet another great year. Our girls keep us very busy and just as entertained. I hope everyone had a great year and this one be even better. I'll try to be better and update more often. Who am I kidding.....

Quick Update......

We had a 40th Wedding Anniversary for Rick's mom and dad in November. It really turned out nice. Here's a shot of just about all the Trotta's that were there. (my babies had gone to my dad's house so there not in it :( My sister got married in October. (guess I should have put that first) It was ssooo beautiful. I should have a picture of the bride and groom on here, but I haven't gotten any yet!! Aubrey was good with the flower girl part, but not so much with the picture part. The babies will try there hand at it when Courtney and Mano get married. Yes, I said Courtney and Mano! It's so hard to believe either of them are old enough to be getting married. Oh, I also turned 30 in September, but I'm cool with it. I'm blessed with a wonderful life with a wonderful family. Age means nothing now....

MY NEW CAR

So we turned in our van and got ourselves a new car. It's a Chevy Equinox 2007. I love it!! The girls get to sit together and they still have their dvd player. The van was becoming to big believe or not. I hated having Aubrey soo far back when we went on long trips. Unfortunately now we can't take anyone else in our car with us. Party of five is all it will hold. I got my color that I wanted and Rick got the rims he wanted. So the whole family is happy. Hope everyone is having a great summer. And yes, I know I really need to get some news pictures of the girls on here. Enjoy your day!!

5th Anniversary

Wow, it's been five years. Doesn't seem to long ago we were dating and just talking about our future. Look how far we have come in such a short time. We got a babysitter and went to dinner and a movie. What movie you ask, but of course, The Simpsons. It was my idea and Rick couldn't believe I would want to do that for my anniversary. The way he loves The Simpsons and that day being the day it was released, it only seemed appropriate. I never dreamed I'd be so happy with such a wonderful family before I was 30.......

The twins finally met the twins!!!! My cousins Victoria and Valerie came to my grandmother Helmer's 80th birthday party. They are from New York and it's not often that we get to see them. I can't tell you the exact time I last seen them but alot has happen since then. They were one of the first people I thought of the day I found out I was having twins. I never walked around thinking, you know it is in my genes, it could happen. Now that I have Samantha and Natalie I wonder what my great-aunt thought when she had her girls. There are so many questions I would want to ask her. I'm sure she's looking down and saying, GOOD LUCK. This was a picture I have wanted since the day I had the girls. It was almost like Samantha and Natalie could pick up on the twin thing. (Not just by looking at them either) They seemed to feel comfortable right away.

Mother's Day Tea

I had the best Mother's Day treat so far . Aubrey's class organized a Mother's Day Tea for all the mommies in the class. Each child walked there mommies in from the hall to their seats. We had cards and homemade place mats and a pretty potted flower. The place mat was the best. Aubrey drew a picture of me and then they filled in the blanks for a Story About Mommy. She put that my name was Lauren, I was 59 years old (thanks alot) I have blue eyes and brown hair just like her (the hair part) my favorite food is broccoli and she loves me because I'm nice to her and I give her cotton candy after school. I think that last line was trying to score herself some cotton candy!! They sang three adorable songs and even told us a poem. Oh I almost forgot they also made flower corsages for us too. It was so exciting to see how much my baby girl did for me. It was truly a special day!! It's great being a Mommy!

Spring is Here!!

My favorite trees finally bloomed in the yard. Rick hates when the flowers fall off, but I love it. It's the perfect time to get some great pictures of the girls. They didn't want to work with me very well in the beginning. Regardless I was able to get some really nice shots. Samantha and Natalie are getting so big and just when I think I've got them figured out, they switch personalities. Aubrey is quite an adventure within herself. She acts like she's 15 already and she's only 4. They certainly keep me on my toes. But I have to admit I'm enjoying every minute of it. Enjoy and this great weather, you never know when it will change....

Aubrey's Birthday

Ok, I'm late. I did manage to do it within a month, that's pretty good for me. We didn't go all out this year, but she still had a good time. Hope all is well with everyone!! Loveyas, The Trottas

SLACKING

I know I have no excuses good enough, but I was having trouble with my log in info for the site. I've got it under control now. Hopefully that stays that way. As you know I was going to stop working for a few years and stay home with the girls. I unfortunately have not started that yet. I'm working part time Mon Tues Wed half days. I'm hoping to end that this month. I am currently covering one of the ladies here that is having some medical issues. We are praying that things go as well as they have been and she'll be back for good in the next few weeks. I really don't mind too much, I like keeing my foot in the door. But now the weather is getting nice and I'd like to spend more time with the girls outside and stuff. I'm getting alot of things done around the house. We've got new floor in our bathroom and kitchen. Painted the kitchen. Re arranged Aubrey's room. Lots of spring cleaning.........still LOTS more to go. My Rick has started a new phrase that I'm enjoying very much, "What baby wants, baby gets". Who wouldn't want to hear that. Although I think I may have used that one long enough. LOL!! Aubrey got school pics done, so I will be posting them very soon. My girls are growing by the minute. I'm enjoying life at home, LIFE IS GOOD!!!!
